Admission Arrangements 2022/2023 Entry

This year’s Admissions Consultation was jointly held by all admissions authorities at the City of York between 4 October and 14 November 2021.  The consultation included the draft admission policy and planned number of places available at each school in the year(s) of entry.

The views of parents/carers, schools and other interested parties are being sought during this consultation.

Following the consultation, each admission authority will formally set (‘determine’) their admission arrangements for admission in 2023-2024 by 28 February 2022.  Determined policies will be on The City of York website by 15 March 2022 after which objections can be raised.

The draft policy for Main School Entry 2022-2023 is below, the planned number of places (PAN) for Y7 entry in September 2022 is 178.

The draft policy for Sixth Form 2022-2023 is below, the planned number of places (PAN) for entry in September 2022 for Y12 is 35 (please note that the Year 12 figure is not a maximum number and we regularly have a Year 12 cohort that exceeds 235 students, particularly where we still have places on some courses/options).

Admission Arrangements 2023/2024 Entry

All Saints RC School is a truly comprehensive secondary school, providing education for 11-18 year olds from communities across York and the surrounding areas. All Saints is a Catholic school but welcomes students from other faith backgrounds.

Applications for admission into Year 7 in the September 2023 intake are made through the Local Authority admission to secondary school process. Parents should complete their application online by 31 October 2022.  Local Authority Application Link

Parents seeking a place for their child at All Saints should note that the over subscription criteria set out in the Admissions Policy is applied using the Supplementary Information Form (SIF). It is therefore important that all applicants send a completed Supplementary Information Form which can be found below, and any required evidence, directly to the school so that this can be taken into consideration.

Parents moving into the area, or wishing to transfer their children to All Saints, can contact the school to arrange a visit.

For students wishing to apply for a place at our Sixth Form for September 2023, the closing date for applications is 31 January 2023. Applications are made via an online application form.

(The SIF should be completed if you are applying to All Saints on the grounds of religion or belief. This should be completed in addition to the Local authority application).

Admissions Consultation for 2024-25

The Admission Consultation for admissions in 2024 – 2025 begins on Monday 3rd October.

This year’s Admissions Consultation is being jointly held by admissions authorities in the City of York between 3rd October and 13th November 2022.  The consultation includes the admission policies and planned number of places available at each school in the year(s) of entry.
