Welcome to Psychology
Psychology is an increasingly popular A-Level subject that encourages reflective thought and analytical discussion. Psychology is the study of human behaviour and offers a variety of theories and explanations for human action that have both developed and changed focus over time.
The course (AQA-B) is comprised of four units. Units 1 and 2 are completed at AS level and units 3 and 4 are completed at A2. Each unit is assessed by examination in the summer of that year of study (two exams each year).
In addition to their timetabled lessons, students are supported in their learning through Psych-Surgery held on Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes from 12:30pm.
