National Day of Reflection & Prayer

National Day of Reflection

Tuesday 23 March has been dedicated as a National Day of Prayer and Reflection to commemorate the 1st Anniversary of the National Lockdown.

In school we would like to mark this event by inviting parents, staff, students and governors to spend some time in quiet reflective prayer. For staff and students we will be making space available in school on both sites to enable this to happen. We are hoping that as a collective school community we will have someone praying at all times throughout the school day.

If you would like to pray for a particular person we are hoping to create a prayer board in the Upper School Chaplaincy Room where we can display their names and others can join in and pray for them in their time of reflection.

The last year has been very difficult for many people and this act of collective worship will hopefully unite us all in remembrance.

Many thanks
