Ruth Harter-Jones is married with three children, two of whom are currently attend All Saints School. Ruth graduated from Leeds University with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Language before undertaking two further years of study at The College of Law in York, studying for the Common Professional Examination law conversion course and the Law Society Finals. She became a Senior Solicitor in private practice and a team leader. Ruth has worked in various fields of civil litigation including health and safety, medical negligence cases and large-scale child abuse actions. A member of the Health, Safety and Premises Committee, Pastoral Committee, Curriculum and Staffing Committee and the Associated Sixth Form Consultation Group, she has also been a member of a group looking into the provision for Able, Interested and Motivated (“AIM”) children within All Saints. Ruth has recently studied at York Saint John University for governor accreditation.
