Students at All Saints receive a statutory programme of Careers Education which is delivered at KS3 through tutor lessons and through collapsed curriculum time for all years.

Students at KS3 will explore the nature of work, stereotypes within employment, aspects of work and decision making.  In Year 9, students will also receive guidance on the options and courses available to them post-14 and have access to the 'Launchpad' computer based software from school and home.

Students at KS4 will explore the importance of CVs, interview skills, making applications and will research the post-16 options available to them, including A-levels, Diplomas and Apprenticeships.

Students will also cover personal finance, starting salaries and action planning.  Students will be encouraged to use the 'Careerscape' software and the York 'Futures4me' website to identify their post-16 choices.  Students will also have access to an Individual Guidance Interview from a qualified independent careers adviser.
