During half term we took a group of Year 12 Business students to Disneyland Paris. The trip combined business and pleasure, with students spending time in seminars and workshops, as well as in the Disney theme parks. The seminars and workshops shone a light on all of the commercial aspects involved in running Disneyland with a particular focus on marketing and human resources. The sessions were tailored to key topics of the A level syllabus and were designed to enhance their knowledge and understanding. Outside of the workshops, students were free to explore all that the theme parks had to offer and see this powerful ‘marketing machine’ in action. A good time was had by all!
